How OneDrive Interacts with Documents and Desktop folders in Windows 11


The Windows 11 image that DGH has chosen integrates OneDrive with the native Windows 11 file management.  This allows OneDrive to backup all files and folders stored in the user's Documents folder, as well as their Desktop and Pictures.  These files and folders will stay in sync between machines and be available on the internet at Office.com




When first initiating OneDrive the user should enable folder backup and turn on backups for:  Documents, Pictures, and Desktop by moving the on/off dot to the right.
